washi wednesday v

It’s already Wednesday again…I can’t believe how quickly these weeks are passing us by.  Why can’t those winter months go by just as fast?!?

Since it’s Wednesday, here’s a quick idea for dressing up some tea lights with washi tape.

I used these green apple tea lights (click here for more details) that I purchased from IKEA, but you could use any scent and/or color.  I do love the smell of these, and the green is such a pretty pop of color!

I chose two coordinating washi tapes…stripes and dots.  Then I simply covered the metal part of the tea light.  As my youngest daughter says, it was “easy peasy.”

They look so cute with the washi tape!  I think I will use clear votives with these so you can see the fun designs.

Try dressing up some tea lights the next time you want to add some color to your candles.
