My youngest daughter celebrated her ninth birthday last month with a spa party. A few weeks ago, I shared the early stages of my party planning…all the items I was considering for the party. Today I thought I would share how everything came together to create a special birthday celebration for my daughter.
We hosted the party at a local salon, which provided a manicure, pedicure, and light (emphasis on light…they are eight and nine year olds, after all) makeup application for each girl.
The party room was simple to decorate in shades of pink, black, white, and gold.
The girls were ready to start their spa day with pink robes and flip flops, which I decorated with ribbon and jewels…perfect for protecting those freshly polished toes!
Then it was “glam” time…manis, pedis, and makeup!
I also planned a few activities for in between the spa services…a fun photo booth with spa themed props, beauty bingo, and the surprise ball.
We ended the celebration with some lunch followed by birthday cake.
It was such a fun day celebrating with friends! To make the spa experience last a little longer, we gave cosmetic bags filled with body products to each of Claire’s friends as they left the party.
Throughout the party, we took pictures using a mini polaroid camera. The girls were so curious about these pictures…I forget they have only ever lived in a digital world. They were able to take these home as keepsakes of the party, also.
It was such a fun party to plan for her! The best part was seeing how much she and her friends enjoyed it!
For details on any of the items used for the party, check out my post on party planning.

Beautifully done!!!!
Every young lady should experience this. I will definitely schedule for My Grandaughter Demi, if this service is available.
THANK YOU for sharing.
